Ingredients: filtered water, pure cane sugar, premium agar agar, fruit purees, citric acid, candy flavoring, food coloring, lemon extract, edible gold shimmer.

Kohakutou is a Japanese candy made from Agar Agar seaweed/sea-moss, sugar, syrups and purees. While drying, this candy develops a crunchy layer on the outside but still remains jelly-like on the inside.

Agar Agar is a vegan plant based gelatin.

If your crystals are not crunchy enough for your preference, take them out of the packaging and leave them open in a dry place for 2-3 days. The longer they stay uncovered at room temperature, the crunchier they become.
